Pulp Fiction
The lives of two hitmen, a boxer, a gangster’s wife, and a pair of small-time robbers interweave across Los Angeles in a series of stories told out of chronological order. Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield philosophise about cheeseburgers before executing a hit. Butch Coolidge double-crosses a crime boss over a fixed boxing match. Mia Wallace overdoses on heroin during a night out. Each thread collides with the others in unexpected ways, held together by Tarantino’s razor-sharp dialogue, a legendary soundtrack, and a structure that redefined how stories could be told on screen.
